I expressed my displeasure and the manager asked to let him put together a replacement item. He assured me it would be worth more than my original purchase. I said ok and was pleasantly surprised by the offer.

Went online to order an impact driver to be picked up at the store. They had 11 in stock according to their website. I drive all the way there only to be told they don't have the item. The cost was 89.00 and it included the impact driver, battery, battery charger, a light and a carry case.
This is where it went south. He brought back the impact driver (tool only) and told me it would be 89.00. I asked where the value was in that as it would not come with a battery, a charger, the light or the bag. He said that was the best he could do. I said thank you, no, please refund my money.

I did check, they had all the items from the package in the store. He refused to put them all together to complete the sale. Needless to say this was my last purchase at any Home Depot anywhere. Too many other options where I won't be insulted. The funny thing is how they wonder why amazon is dominating sales. I get better customer support from an online company than I do from my local brick and mortar store. Truly sad...
